Hi everyone!

As i got back from the sea and in front of a computer i had the itch to get something modeled, both for the good sake of my Shapeways shop, which was arid dry, and of my creativity stamina. So i picked up from where i left off: i was creating a gift for a friend of mine (Nicola, the one from the skiing trip), the infamous ring from LOTR. I really don’t know why the solution to creating a simple ring with incisions didn’t come up at the very beginning (like 5 months ago), but now you all can admire the final result in my shop, maybe even buy one yourself… at least rate or comment!

Then, i really don’t know why, must have been a creating frenzy or something, i managed to double the designs in my shop in less then 2 weeks!

We decided to go to Foppolo, a local mountain-top city, gear up and fly down the side of the mountain. “We” as Me, Nicola, Chiara and Nicola’s father. Early morning pick-up by my place and off we go. Once we got there we froze in mid air as we tried to get out the car (-13 ‘C!), but eventually managed to dress up and get our skis in place. We had a lot of fun and had gorgeous views of the valley below us (will add some photos as soon as i get to find them ).

Ok, i’m very excited for i have just seen the new Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece, Inception.

For what i’ve experienced, it was as much a world-view change as Matrix has been, just mind-blowing…

The story itself was complicated but interesting to follow, but the awesomeness core is the combination of back-story, amazing special effects, breath-taking twists and a satisfying ending.

I recommend you guys to see it as soon as you can, i know i’ll tell directly to my philosophy teacher to get all my class to see it!

I decided to turn my 3D creation passion into a profitable buisness, in fact i created a shop HERE to sponsor my dreams and stuff.

It’s pretty empty by now but i’ll be updating it with more models and stuff.

I started with one of the easiest things i could do with AAE, and it actually was more time consuming then difficult.

So, with the help of my brother Jack, i taped a 15+- secs footage, worked on it a day or two and… TA-DAAA!

Hellooooo!

Some closer friends or lucky ones knows that i’ve had the vacation of my life (for now!) in the US. Needless say it was brain-blowing! I’ve had the best experiences i could have asked for and met a lot of cool peolpe to share them with.

It was a nicey itinerary from Milan to Boston, then NY, LA and SF… yeah… it’s that cool.

Hey guyz!

Maybe you’ve heard that every year for 6 years in Italy a number of emerging technologies experts, future ethics Gurus or generally geeks gather for a pretty cool conference called Frontiers of Interaction. This years edition was featured in Rome (Acquarium)  and has been the first one that needed an entry fee to get in (apart from special reccomendations or FELLOW status (yeah!)), due to the fact that it has become a proper startup itself.

Many cool topics were dealt with such as robotics, startup fresh ideas or future ethics from some interesting  new speakers whose info can be found on http://www.frontiers.idearium.org/2010/.

Personally, as a FOI-veteran, I really enjoyed the whole conference, the powerful will of the crew behind the scenery, of the workshops collaborators and participants, each one who gave spirit and voice to ideas that are next to be starters of new revolutions in our every day life. That’s what Italy needs, that’s what we need.
